  1. AUTOMATIC ERASE SETTINGS

  4. By default, The Archivist opens in auto erase on and this can be noticed with the ‚Äú‚àö‚Äù symbol before this menu item of menu Documents.
  5.  
  6. Consequently, a text file that is imported in The Archivist will be automatically trashed as a file thus avoiding duplication of your documents. If this setting is turned of by selecting this menu item, all text files imported in The Archivist will stay as a file on your desktop.

  8. This menu item is in fact a toggle switch.
